ALL ABOUT THERAPY

Perhaps you're down or anxious - maybe you're unsure about the future of a relationship, or just feel that you aren't living the life you were meant to lead. Whatever your needs may be, I am here to offer support. Therapy is a process of growth and self-discovery, and in my sessions I promote behavioral transformation by encouraging a positive outlook and the adoption of new attitudes and reactions. ABOUT ME

Serving Clients Since 2008

Ginny has worked with children, families and adults for over twelve years in a variety of settings. She earned her graduate degree from Ohio State University where she participated in family therapy training (by leading experts/professors) from the Ohio State University School of Clinical Social Work.


She has experience using several evidence-based treatments. She is proficient in using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Structural Family Therapy and Narrative Therapy. She has helped clients with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, child/adolescent behavior problems, low self-esteem, relationship problems, work stress, and other difficulties. She believes that a person’s strengths are the core to better understanding yourself and to lead a more fulfilling life. She is dedicated in making sure that your treatment fits your needs and goals.

JAY NIMENE

Mr. Jay, as he is known, is a Licensed Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience in the field of social work. He has a Masters in Social Work and a Masters in Education Administration.


As a Licensed Social Worker, Mr. Jay specializes in communication; positive reinforcement; critical thinking; empathy; self-care; patience; and advocacy for individuals. He understands that talking about an issue is the only way to come to a resolution; and he uses the skills acquired in his 20 years of experience to help others.

Mr. Jay enjoys sharing stories with others - especially if they can help. It is his belief that in sharing his life stories that he may impact others or help others in similar situations. Everyone has a story to share and everyone has the ability to listen and share life experiences. No one should feel the need to go through life alone - it is important that we all stay connected and provide positive reinforcement for others.
